JOSEPH J. POLLACI - President

“Clients rely on Nucor to help transform their vision and design into brick and mortar realities. We maintain expectations throughout the process and keep the commitments we make.”

Joseph joined Nucor in 2011 following an eight-year career in the commercial real estate industry, where he specialized in tenant representation negotiating commercial office leases. He became Nucor’s president in 2015.

Joseph has guided the firm through its recent growth and continues to broaden the firm’s client base and diversify into different markets and industries.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Providence College and is active in both the Providence College and Chaminade High School alumni associations. In 2014, Joseph founded the Shalom Centre for Africa, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to aiding peace efforts in Eastern Africa.

MARK A. POLLACI - CEO

“I have been involved in the construction industry ever since I can remember, and fortunate to have apprenticed with the best. I learned early on that attention to detail and an ability to communicate clearly is critical to the successful execution of every project. Nucor embodies that credo.”

Mark founded Nucor Construction Corp. in 1986 following a career spanning nearly every aspect of construction. He entered the industry as a concrete laborer working on the Olympic Tower in Midtown Manhattan, the first mixed-use building zoned for Fifth Avenue and then spent 12 years with several well-known New York City firms before launching Nucor.

A lifelong builder, Mark has managed the construction of nearly all building types, including financial, commercial, residential, educational, broadcasting and retail.
